The journey from farm to fridge starts with the most important ingredient of any delicious yoghurt: heaps of quality whole milk. Our unique whole milk recipe is made fresh daily from cows on Colorado farms, and we think it makes the tastiest foundation for our next-level velvety yoghurt.

Where it
all happens
noosa starts on a fifth-generation dairy farm where our unique whole milk recipe is made fresh daily—the most “mmm”-worthy foundation for our full on tasty yoghurt, if you ask us. Every creamy, dreamy drop of milk in our yoghurt comes from that farm in Colorado, or within 55 miles of it. Wholly cow.
When we water, we cycle
We built our very own water treatment plant on the farm, creating a full on sustainable process. Nah, we don’t dump the water used to run and clean our production facility down the drain. We treat the water so it’s clean again and then reuse it to irrigate our crops! What we don’t use of this clean water gets returned to the river.
30,000, wowza!
That’s how many trees have been saved from 2019 through August 2024 by simply reusing and recycling paper and cardboard waste, according to our UCBZeroWaste report. Reuse and recycling is a way of life around here, so our efforts to stay environmentally mindful on the farm are never-ending.

NOOSA BEGAN WITH… WELL, NOOSA.
Tucked away on Australia’s Sunshine Coast, it was near this picturesque beach town where our co-founder, Koel Thomae—an Aussie ex-pat who’d been living in Colorado—came across a simple, clear tub filled with creamy yoghurt and passion fruit purée. one irresistible spoonful later, her obsession with great yoghurt began.
This was no ordinary yoghurt… and too good to stay hidden Down Under. back in Colorado, Koel sought out Rob Graves, a fourth generation dairy farmer with some serious milk credentials. making great milk isn’t just Rob’s profession; it’s his lifelong passion. he lives, breathes, and… well, drinks milk. like Koel, it only took him one taste to say, “we HAVE to make this yoghurt!”
